Styling with Fiona de Lys
Much of what we experience with interior design is about context. A myriad of unconscious processes combine — physics, biology and psychology — leaving us with a distinct and conscious feeling we usually call ‘atmosphere’.
My particular interest is creating biographical poetry between object, space and person, for evocative living and close dialogue — I call this aesthetic narrative. By reading space with a kind of forensic observation, I help create an engaging home that you feel more connected to and inspired by; an atmosphere you want to totally immerse yourself in.
I will often consult on colour for clients and introduce antique vessels, as part of my signature style, in addition to bespoke sourcing or creative consultancy for interiors.
A sample of my recent styling work is below.
