Another fantastic colour workshop today with archi Another fantastic colour workshop today with architect @federica_barbarino and interior designer @katevdm.interiordesign . We shared so much open conversation about colour, the psychology of colour for ourselves and the challenges that arise in creating schemes. Federica, also a linguist, spoke beautifully about her experiences in her practice and how The Aesthetic Narrative can be a means of helping clients translate their story through colour. I loved hearing that. I also got the stamp of approval from her for the Ligurian lunch I made! Kate shared insights into the importance of asking the right questions that will edit excess choices to help navigate a client to their desired end goal - a valuable process that will save time and mental exhaustion (I also really admired her trainers and jumper which perfectly complemented my dried mimosa). These kind of organic conversations in the colour workshops help us thrive and expand and learn new ways of communicating that build confidence and enhance our practice. The colours that began to emerge for their schemes were unique, meaningful, and rooted in purpose - I look forward to seeing how these schemes develop. My Aesthetic Narrative workshop day is divided int My Aesthetic Narrative workshop day is divided into 3 parts with theory and demonstration, content creation, and practical application. You’ll explore your aesthetic narrative and develop your own road-map using a systematic approach and in the afternoon, after an authentic Ligurian lunch, you’ll produce your colour scheme.
