My philosophy is that a home grows by slow design, as a place to experience, celebrate and imagine moments between people and their surroundings.

It is an intimate space where we can commune with ourselves, those we share it with, and our precious possessions. When intentional colour design is used creatively in the home, it can help define us — by surrounding us with echoes of the chapters of our lives and our evolving tastes.

As a playful way of creating colour harmonies, I often select combinations from photographs or paintings — fragments of life, real and imagined. In the same way a camera captures a moment in time, I use imagery and sentiment to curate a personal and beautiful palette for your home.

My background comprises time spent in floristry, home renovation, and antiques, and a lifelong fascination with colour. These experiences inform my understanding of colour and how to read light — it’s a multi-disciplinary approach, combining perception and intuition, which makes a world of colour and personalised palettes available to my clients.

Specialising in the colours and textures of sustainable, designer paint brands (under Sustainable paint above), I can help you use colour around your home in a conscientious way.
