Now applying a shadow colour I mixed to read nicely with existing green. Wait until I show you how it reads onto the mauvish ombré brûlée in the bedroom - you won’t believe your eyes! If you think about colour in relationship to another colour then you will be able to value it with more clarity. Without a reference point, the destination is uncertain. A white A4 sheet of paper is a useful and easy tool to gauge the undertone of a neutral. Give it a try and see what you notice!
