The course helps you identify a consistent, personal logic to your aesthetic judgment that comes out of sustained observation and self reflection. This logic cannot be learnt from colour theory alone, and that most professionals argue is based on intuition.
At the heart of this Colour Academy course, together with the personal observations portfolio that you’ll build, is the invaluable one-to-one time spent with Fiona who will help you shape the intimate context and deeper meaning of your human relationship with colour into an expansive craft.
Providing insight and video mentorship in a personalised programme of support throughout the course, Fiona will guide you to pause, reflect and navigate your experience of colour from a personal and professional perspective, up to and beyond your final project submission.
By the end of the course, you’ll have built a substantial body of work, in your own observation portfolio, from which you’ll be able to articulate a distinct, evidence-based, personal colour system — one only you can explain and apply — rather than relying on academic colour theory, changing trends, or branded colour charts.
