Join me at Lantern Cottage for a slow colour story, and discover your own aesthetic narrative
Come and join me for a day of exploration and a hands-on workshop, as I walk you through the colours and aesthetic of my Ligurian-inspired Georgian cottage for part 1 of the Delysian Colour System.
Discover how heritage, place and identity can nurture colour choices to make unique and nostalgic spaces to live in, with purpose and meaning. Learn more about my colour scheme, and how I conceived it, as I reveal my influences and demonstrate my signature process, the challenges, and my own solutions.
Indulge all your senses as we share ideas over a lunch of authentic Ligurian dishes, served in my cottage garden, followed by a workshop to explore your own aesthetic narrative.
This one-day experience will provide you with the knowledge required to benefit you the most for part 2. It will leave you inspired, and give you new ideas and tips to help you develop the essence of your own home, with colours that nurture the soul.
This is a unique approach to the art of slow, holistic colour scheming for timeless interiors, and places are very limited, so be quick to book yours now.
My Aesthetic Narrative workshop will help you develop your own colour schemes for work or home
Your day at Lantern Cottage is a unique, guided experience, connecting you with memories, impressions and aspirations, expressed through colour in a real setting.
Learn how to develop your unique palette using my signature process of dynamic and subjective influences in curating a scheme that feels like you as I talk you through the process – an extremely valuable tool for anyone wanting to become a colour consultant or working in interior design.
Come and explore my eclectic layering of Argile paint colours (whom I also consult for), furniture, textiles and decorative objects that weave a narrative throughout my cottage and garden and see the result of my aesthetic narrative method.
This is an intimate insight into my English-Italian world of colour, in an authentic setting, my own home, as seen in UK interiors magazines House & Garden, The English Home, and media channel Homeworthy.
As a small group, there will be ample opportunity to ask questions, and our authentic Ligurian lunch — very much a part of the aesthetic experience — provides an opportunity for the exchange of ideas that can be explored later in the hands-on workshop.
Your workshop includes theoretical notes, for colour exercises guided by myself, and are illustrated with various paints. Refreshments, lunch, and a gift bag, are also included in the event cost.
You’ll learn my personal approach to aesthetic narrative (the result of dynamic, subjective and visual experiences) and will take home your own personal colour scheme, created in the workshop at Lantern Cottage.
You’ll leave inspired with lots of new ideas, tips and advice on how to create colour schemes that reflect your own identity, and if you’re a professional, how to help your clients find theirs.
“I was especially fascinated by Fiona’s approach to reading light and how she uses highlight and shadow to craft colour schemes that transition beautifully between spaces…I left feeling like my soul had been quietly nourished. A reminder of the deep, emotional resonance colour can carry.”
